I'm all about finding bargains. I don't like paying retail for things, but if I do, and it's clothing... it's something well-made and something that I know I'll wear for the next 5 years.
In the last few months, I've started couponing (Is that how that's spelled? It just doesn't look right.) more. I've got the binder, it's sectioned, and every Sunday I sit & clip/sort/organize my coupons... usually while watching football. :)
As I mentioned in my previous post, Pinterest has become quite an addiction for me. BUT... it has opened my eyes to so many ways to help save money! And well, to help me streamline my life & get more organized. I know, it's taken me 39 years to only be organized in certain areas, but hey, I'm getting there!
A couple of weeks ago, I came across a site that had home-made recipes for household cleansers. I gave it a try, and I LOVE them. My house now smells like Lavender each time I clean my kitchen & bathrooms... not bleach. I'll share those soon.
So today I'm scoping out more things & I came across a "pin" of homemade Febreeze spray. I'm certain I had already pinned it, but I checked this one out because well, I was just too lazy to search back through all of my 629 pins. ;)
The "recipe" couldn't have been easier, and I have to say, I think I'm hooked. Sorry Febreeze, I don't think I'll be purchasing you in the store anymore.

I didn't have to go out & purchase anything to make this concoction, so I got right to work.
How to make:
1/8 cup of your favorite scented fabric softener
2 Tbsp. baking soda
Hot tap water to fill the bottle
I had an empty 40.5 fl oz Febreeze bottle sitting around, so that's what I used.
I have to say, I mixed this up this morning and sprayed it. It's been almost 4 hours, and I can still smell it!
